/ July 8, 2016Beautiful!
( I encountered a tortoise in Greece recently. It was in the middle of a very quiet road so I stopped the car and moved it to the verge, (s) he wasn’t very impressed and made a hissing sound! )

/ July 8, 2016I especially love the color of the jewelwing and the amazing textures/tessellations of the turtle’s shell. (Might you by chance have seen any interesting fungi?)

/ July 9, 2016The turtle shell was amazing. I wanted to get closer but didn’t want to disturb it any further. I didn’t see any outstanding fungi, just a few mildly interesting mushrooms. I would have expected more with all the recent rain in the area.
