Posted in anne carson, anne sexton, books, fiction, libraries, lydia davis, mary ruefle, poetry, preparations for the cold months ahead begin with the laying in of books, reading, when i couldn't find one of these books on the shelf the person at the humanities desk asked me if i knew how to find books using call numbers, why are books held in storage when there is ample shelf space, and why is the catalog inaccurate - i am so glad i turned down a job there
