From one of my absolute favorite books ever. My copies of Jabes are always much-loved and a bit worn at the edges from all the re-reading. <3

  He really is a special writer. Do you have another favorite of his? I just came across my reading notes for this and was reminded of how much I enjoyed it. I’d like to explore his work further.

    If you don’t have Volume II of The Book of Questions, most definitely track down a copy. Both volumes will always have a special place on my shelves.
